Clinical reports from Russian centres describe attention, memory and recovery scores in patients after stroke or transient ischemic attack. Most of those human studies are small and few have been repeated by independent groups. Outcome measures differ between studies, which limits direct comparison.

Once dissolved, the peptide is considerably less stable than the solid. Collagen loss is highly visible in the skin where it can cause the skin to lose elasticity, reduction of the thickness of the epidermis, an increase in the formation of wrinkles and sagging and also make the skin vulnerable and easily damaged. Prevalent throughout the body, loss of collagen can also contribute to numerous other disorders such as joint pain, weakened hair and nails, reduced bone density, gastrointestinal issues, and reduced muscle mass. Numerous interventions exist to address the loss of collagen with varying levels of efficacy and evidentiary support.
There have been various changes to the spawn system in the various betas to try to make matches more interesting and more winnable but also without making it such that a team that suffers a major loss of players can still come back. An admin configurable time limit (default 15 minutes) was introduced in beta 5 which remains in the final version. With the time limit, Marines are usually on the attacking side and Kharaa are on the defending side. == January 28, 1982 (Thursday) == In Padua, 10 agents of Italy's NOCS anti-terrorism force rescued U.S. Army Brigadier General James L. Dozier, who had been kidnapped by the Red Brigades terrorist group on December 17. Kemal Arikan, the consul general of the Turkey's consulate in the U.S. city of Los Angeles, was shot to death while stopped at a traffic light while driving home. Two Americans of Armenian descent, Harry Sassounian and Krikor Saliba, approached his car at the intersection of Comstock Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard and began firing. A group calling itself the Justice Commandos of the Armenian Genocide took responsibility for the shooting and gave as its motive the 1915 genocide of more than one million Armenians by the government of Turkey, 12 years before Arikan had been born, but had allegedly made a speech condemning Armenians. Arikan, struck 14 times by bullets, died at the scene. Sassounian would be found guilty of murder in 1984, and initially sentenced to life imprisonment without possibility of parole, but would be freed in 2021 after more than 38 years incarceration. Saliba was never found. At 5:30 in the morning local time (20:30 UTC on 27 January) at Kurashiki in Japan's Okayama Prefecture, Japanese astronomer Minoru Honda discovered the nova V1370 Aquilae more than 9,000 years after it had happened. Died: Andrea Buchanan, 26, American professional tennis player was shot to death along with her supervisor, Nathanial Brown, at Brown's Fish Market in Los Angeles, where she had been working as a cashier to supplement her tennis income.

== Etymology == In the Aztec language Nahuatl, the word for the product of this procedure is nixtamalli or nextamalli (pronounced [niʃtaˈmalːi] or [neʃtaˈmalːi]), which in turn has yielded Mexican Spanish nixtamal ([nistaˈmal]). The Nahuatl word is a compound of nextli, "ash", referring to the lye involved in its preparation, and tamalli, "unformed/cooked corn dough, tamal". The term nixtamalization can also be used to describe the removal of the pericarp from any grain by an alkali process, including maize, sorghum, and others. When the unaltered Spanish spelling nixtamalización is used in written English, however, it almost exclusively refers to maize. The labels on packages of commercially sold tortillas prepared with nixtamalized maize usually list corn treated with lime as an ingredient in English, while the Spanish versions list maíz nixtamalizado.
== Description == Senna occidentalis is a foetid shrub that typically grows to a height of 1–2 m (3 ft 3 in – 6 ft 7 in) and has softly-hairy branches and stems. Its leaves are pinnate, 150–170 mm (5.9–6.7 in) long on a petiole 20–40 mm (0.79–1.57 in) long, with three to seven pairs of broadly elliptic to egg-shaped leaflets 50–70 mm (2.0–2.8 in) long and 30–40 mm (1.2–1.6 in) wide, spaced 15–30 mm (0.59–1.18 in) apart. There is a sessile glands near the base of the petiole. The flowers are yellow and arranged on the ends of branchlets and in upper leaf axils in groups of two to four on a peduncle 2–5 mm (0.079–0.197 in) long, each flower on a pedicel 10–15 mm (0.39–0.59 in) long. The petals are up to 10 mm (0.39 in) long and there are six fertile stamens, the anthers varying in length from 4 to 6 mm (0.16 to 0.24 in) long, and four staminodes. Flowering occurs all year, and the fruit is a cylindrical pod 120–180 mm (4.7–7.1 in) long, about 3 mm (0.12 in) wide and slightly curved.
GC–MS of amphetamine and methamphetamine with the chiral derivatizing agent Mosher's acid chloride allows for the detection of both dextroamphetamine and dextromethamphetamine in urine. Hence, the latter method may be used on samples that test positive using other methods to help distinguish between the various sources of the drug.
